5. Co-Branded Relationships
We have established relationships with other parties to offer you the benefit of other products and services which we ourselves do not offer. We offer you access to these other parties either through the use of hyperlinks to their sites from our Site, or through offering "co-branded" sites in which both ourselves and these other parties share the same uniform resource locator, domain name or pages within a domain name on the Internet. In some cases you may be required to submit information for purposes of registering or applying for products or services provided by such third parties or co-branded partners. The privacy policy of such other parties may differ from ours, and we may not have any control over the information that you submit to such third parties or co-branded sites. We therefore encourage you to read that policy before responding to any offers, products or services provided by such other parties.
6. Your Profile, Contact Management
The following sections of the Personal Data you have made available to BIZTURE is visible to all other BIZTURE Members:
- First name, last name
- Professional status
- Company name
- Position (Title)
- Industry
- Country, state and city of your company
If you send BIZTURE Members a request for personal contact, these BIZTURE Members are then saved in your Profile on a contact list. Should a BIZTURE Member confirm your request for contact, this BIZTURE Member shall be listed as a so called "confirmed contact". Confirmed and unconfirmed contacts shall be registered separate from one another. Other BIZTURE Members may only ever view your list of confirmed contacts.
Other BIZTURE Members may send you private messages in order to establish contact with you. BIZTURE has set your privacy settings under "Privacy" by default so that all BIZTURE Members may send you private messages. You may restrict the ability of BIZTURE Members to send you private messages at any time to the effect that either no BIZTURE Members or only selected contacts may send you private messages, for example only the direct contacts of your contacts (i.e. second level contacts) or only third level or fourth level contacts.
7. Your comments
You can like, find interesting and comment on your contacts' activity (hereinafter referred to as "comments"). Your comments are then visible to the network of the contact on whose activity you commented. You can delete your comments at any time.
8. Visibility of your Profile to Non-Members of BIZTURE
Under "Privacy" you can set the level of your privacy at any time. When you register, your default privacy settings rather promote the spirit of networking. The data contained in your profile is visible to non-members of BIZTURE and traceable by search engines on the Internet. This, however, does not include personal contact details such as email addresses or phone numbers.
9. Groups
On the BIZTURE Websites, BIZTURE offers certain groups, forums and similar services.
Each group has one (1) or more moderator(s). The moderator decides for each group whether the group is public or whether it is only accessible to a specific group of people, as well as who has read and/or write access for each relevant group. This information will be displayed on the BIZTURE Websites for the relevant group. It is visible to BIZTURE Members and it may also be visible to non-members of BIZTURE, depending on the settings chosen by the moderator.
Please note: where a group is specified as "public" on the BIZTURE Website and in the event that the moderator has not restricted the access rights to the group, all contributions of BIZTURE Members to such a group can be read by all other BIZTURE Members, and these contributions are then also accessible to non-members of BIZTURE on the Internet without any restrictions. You may deactivate the traceability of your contributions to a group by Internet search engines or by so-called RSS readers in your privacy settings under "Privacy". However, any contributions you posted on the group prior to deactivation will remain visible after the deactivation as well. RSS readers are programs which trace updates of a website, providing the website technically supports the so called RSS standard. Where Internet groups support the RSS standard, the RSS reader may track if, when and which new articles have been published.
10. Appointments, Activities, Event Management
On the BIZTURE Websites, BIZTURE offers you the possibility to enter your appointments, activities and events as well as similar services (collectively hereinafter referred to as "events"). With this function you may manage and coordinate your events with other BIZTURE Members and/or with non-members of BIZTURE, and you may also invite other BIZTURE Members and/or non-members to specific events.
Each event has one (1) or more hosts (organizers). The host decides for each event if and which information about the event is visible to other BIZTURE Members and/or for non-members of BIZTURE. Among other things, this information may include whether the event is reserved to BIZTURE Members or whether it is a public event and as such accessible to non-members, whether the number of participants is limited, whether the guest list is visible without any restrictions or if and which restrictions should apply to the visibility of the guest list. The above information shall be displayed on the BIZTURE Websites for the relevant event. It is visible to BIZTURE Members, and it may also be visible to non-members, depending on the settings chosen by the host.
11. Invitations
As a BIZTURE Member you may invite others to join BIZTURE. BIZTURE shall process personal data collected in the course of the invitation solely for the invitation and shall not use it for any other purposes.
12. Search Functions
The BIZTURE Services offer various possibilities to search for particular BIZTURE Members. These various search functions may assist you, for example, in finding other BIZTURE Members with similar interests. The search functions can also help you to initiate contact with other BIZTURE Members who offer exactly what you are looking for. Thus, you can find the contacts you need - and systematically expand your personal network.
13. Newsletter, emails
BIZTURE may send out newsletters or status emails (collectively hereinafter referred to as the "newsletter(s)") to all BIZTURE Members. In these newsletters BIZTURE may inform you, among other things, about new features on BIZTURE, about your events in the upcoming week, and BIZTURE may also provide you with specific personal statistics from the respective past calendar week (i.e. the number of hits on your Profile, whether you have new contacts to be confirmed and/or new private messages, etc.) We may contact you with service-related announcements from time to time. You may opt out of all communications except essential updates on your account notifications page. We may include content you see on Bizture in the emails we send to you. You may choose to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending an email to the link provided at the end of each newsletter.
14. Cookies

After you have logged in to the BIZTURE Services with your username and password, BIZTURE uses so-called "session cookies" in order to identify you during the course of your session. You can edit the settings of your browser to prevent cookies from being stored, to limit the storage of cookies to certain websites, or such that your browser informs you every time a cookie is sent.
15. Minors
Membership of BIZTURE Services is reserved for persons who have reached the legal age of 18. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for the protection of their children's privacy.
16. Security Measures
We employ commercially reasonable security methods to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure correct use of information. As a Registered User, your Registration Information, Publishing Information and Payment Information (if any) can be viewed and edited through your Account which is protected by Password. We recommend that you do not divulge your Password to anyone. Our personnel will never ask you for your Password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited e-mail. If you share a computer with others, you should not choose to save your log-in information (e.g., User ID and Password) on the computer. Remember to sign out of your Account and close your browser window when you have finished your session. No data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secured. As a result, while we try to protect your information, no web site or company, including ourselves, can absolutely ensure or guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.
Risks inherent in sharing information. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your information, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other users with whom you share your information. We cannot guarantee that only authorized persons will view your information. We cannot ensure that information you share on Bizture will not become publicly available. We are not responsible for third party circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures on Bizture. You can reduce these risks by using common sense security practices such as choosing a strong password, using different passwords for different services, and using up to date antivirus software.
Report Violations. You should report any security violations to us on contact us form.
17. Changes to Privacy Policy
Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated through our posting an amended and restated Privacy Policy on our Site. Our posting the amended and restated Privacy Policy will make such new Privacy Policy immediately effective. You agree that all Collected Information (whether or not collected prior to or after the new policy became effective) will be governed by the newest Privacy Policy then in effect.
